Framing the Interior
Leveling and replacing the floor of Simone's was one of the early infrastructure improvements made to the space.
The garage building is a very sound structure, but the interior required a lot of attention in order to transform it into the kitchen for Simone's, as well as a secondary bar and seating area.
Not surprising for an old building, the floors had settled in the Simone's space and were no longer perfectly flat. Leveling and replacing the floor created a strong foundation for the Simone's interior.
This photo shows some of the old framing in the building, as well as the new framing which begins to define the Simone's space.
